Reality Zero One develops technology that converts real-world objects into digital assets for virtual and augmented reality environments.
Reality Zero One has secured £285k in seed funding from Startup Funding Club, the British Robotics Seed Fund, and the London Co-Investment Fund. The capital will support the ongoing development of its digital realities platform, which combines hardware and software to automate the creation of 3D assets.
The company originally presented its technology at a pitching event hosted by Startup Funding Club in November. Investors tested the system firsthand before committing capital to the venture.
The latest injection of funds brings together prominent early-stage backers to help scale the platform, which aims to simplify the production of digital content for virtual, augmented, and mixed reality applications without requiring technical development skills.
From the founder
"Our digital realities platform fills a clear gap in the market for high-resolution output that is realistic and needs no further editing before being put into a VR or AR setting."

Co-founder at Reality Zero One
Investor perspective
"We are very pleased to co-invest once again with our angel network and the London Co-Investment Fund in this exciting venture. We believe there is a great market opportunity in building a platform that allows non-experts to easily create and distribute virtual reality content."
