Battery Ventures led the Series A round to support platform development and US expansion.
Plain provides a customer support platform designed to modernise B2B workflows and consolidate communication channels. The system helps businesses manage interactions across platforms like Slack and email.
Plain has secured £12m in Series A funding led by Battery Ventures, with participation from Index Ventures and Connect Ventures. The capital will support product expansion, team growth, and the opening of a San Francisco office to serve the American market.
Founded by former Deliveroo leaders Simon Rohrbach and Matt Vagni, the company builds collaborative tools that replace traditional ticketing systems. Its platform integrates real-time messaging services with automated workflows to help support and engineering teams resolve issues efficiently.
