BGF led the Series A round with participation from existing backers including Octopus Ventures, Northern Gritstone, and Foresight.
Phlux Technology develops high-performance infrared sensors based on novel semiconductor materials originating from academic research. The firm supplies global markets across optical communications and sensing applications.
Phlux Technology has secured £9m in a Series A financing round led by BGF. The raise included participation from returning investors Octopus Ventures, Northern Gritstone, and Foresight. The capital will be directed towards scaling the headcount, increasing manufacturing output, and bringing two new product ranges to market for optical communications and sensing systems.
