Permutive secures £54.8m Series C funding from SoftBank Vision Fund to scale privacy-first advertising infrastructure

The round was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 with participation from existing investors to scale on-device technology.
Permutive provides an audience platform for publishers and advertisers that facilitates privacy safe media trading. Its technology operates on over one billion devices globally to support data driven advertising.
Permutive has secured £54.8m in a Series C funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with participation from previous backers including EQT Ventures, Octopus Ventures, and ACE & Company. The capital will be deployed to scale the audience platform and expand patented on-device technology, establishing a global privacy-first infrastructure for the programmatic advertising sector. This investment follows a period of rapid expansion for the company, which now counts major media organisations across Europe and North America among its clients.
From the founder

Investor perspective
"To underpin a privacy-first web requires unique technology. As a leader in on-device technology, Permutive can bring a complicated landscape that’s being significantly disrupted into a privacy-safe future. The company’s technology is now running on over 1 billion devices a month globally, and we see tremendous opportunity for sustained growth as on-device processing reshapes adtech,"
