Peak secures £54.4m Series C funding led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 to fuel global expansion
The Manchester-based enterprise software company has raised £54.4m from SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and existing backers to scale its decision intelligence platform.
Peak builds an enterprise software platform that enables businesses to integrate artificial intelligence into their core operations and decision-making processes. Its technology is utilised across retail, manufacturing and consumer goods sectors.
Manchester-based enterprise software company Peak has raised £54.4m in a Series C funding round. The investment was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with participation from existing backers including MMC Ventures, Oxx, Praetura Ventures, Arete, and Octopus Ventures.
The fresh capital will be directed towards international expansion, including the opening of new offices in the United States and India, alongside increased research and development expenditure for the company platform. Peak also intends to create over two hundred new jobs globally over the coming year following the raise.
The funding follows a period of strong demand for the company decision intelligence platform, which has seen revenues more than double over the past twelve months driven by customer acquisitions across multiple international markets.
