Oxwash raises £500k in seed follow-on funding via Crowdcube and angel investors to expand its electric fleet and technology.
The green-tech startup secured the capital from a public crowdfunder and five angel investors.
Oxwash provides sustainable, on-demand laundry and wet cleaning services using advanced technology and eco-friendly processes. The company operates facilities known as lagoons and serves both domestic and commercial clients.
Oxwash has secured £500k in a seed follow-on funding round through a public crowdfunder on Crowdcube alongside contributions from angel investors. The company, which provides eco-friendly laundry services, raised half of the capital from private backers and the remainder from hundreds of public participants. The injection of funds will support the expansion of the firm's electric vehicle fleet and the continued development of its technology platform.
From the founder
"Our goal was to build a wide network of shareholders who care about our purpose as much as we do and can be true ambassadors for the brand, which is why we capped the investment level at £5,000 per person."
