OctaiPipe secures £3.5m in funding and grants led by SuperSeed to advance edge AI technology.
The pre-Series A round and Innovate UK grant will fund federated learning development and platform scaling.
OctaiPipe provides an end-to-end Edge AI platform designed for critical infrastructure sectors. The company helps data scientists deploy and manage federated learning networks securely.
OctaiPipe has secured £3.5m in total, consisting of a £3m pre-Series A round and a £500k grant from Innovate UK. SuperSeed led the equity investment, with participation from Forward Partners, D2, Atlas Ventures, Martlet Capital, Gelecek Etki VC, and Deeptech Labs.
The capital will support the ongoing development of the company's proprietary federated learning technology and expand platform availability across asset-dependent sectors such as energy, utilities, telecoms, and manufacturing. Alongside the funding announcement, the firm appointed Arnaud Lagarde as chief revenue officer to drive commercial growth.
The business addresses security and cost limitations associated with cloud processing by enabling decentralised AI training directly on internet of things devices. The platform is currently deployed across more than twenty customer environments.
