Multiverse operates an enterprise platform that maps workforce skills against business goals to deliver targeted training and AI adoption programmes.

Multiverse has raised $70m in a strategic funding round led by Schroders Capital, bringing its valuation to $2.1bn. Existing backers including General Catalyst, Index Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, D1 Capital Partners, Bond, and StepStone Group also participated in the financing.

The capital will be deployed to support the company as it expands across Europe, positioning itself as an artificial intelligence adoption platform focused on workforce transformation. The raise follows a period of accelerated growth marked by a 50% year-on-year rise in revenue and its first cash-positive quarter.

Founded in 2016, the London-based business has evolved from an apprenticeship provider into an infrastructure layer designed to help organisations integrate new technologies and bridge workplace skill gaps.

From the founder

"There are companies who desperately need the benefits AI can bring. There are AI companies. What has been missing is the layer that bridges the two. This investment marks the moment Multiverse defines that category, and takes it across Europe. Getting outcomes from AI and unlocking productivity is not just a technology problem. It is a people problem. We exist to solve it,"
