Multiverse builds an alternative to university education by offering professional apprenticeships that bridge digital skills gaps. The organisation provides structured training programmes combined with on-the-job experience.

Multiverse has secured £175.2m in a Series D funding round to accelerate its expansion in the United States and broaden its learning programmes. The investment was co-led by StepStone Group alongside returning backers Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. Additional participation came from Founders Circle Capital, Audacious Ventures, BOND, D1 Capital Partners, GV, and Index Ventures, lifting the company total funding past the £400m mark.

Founded in the UK, the company trains professional apprentices through tuition-free programmes spanning software engineering, digital marketing, and data analytics. The fresh capital will support initiatives aimed at closing workplace digital skills gaps and creating inclusive routes into modern employment sectors.
