Mojo-CX raises £2.3m from NPIF II and syndicate investors to develop AI contact centre tools
The funding round was led by NPIF II, Praetura Equity Finance and will support technology development and team expansion.
Mojo-CX provides a software suite using artificial intelligence to analyse customer service conversations and train contact centre staff. The business operates from bases in Manchester and Birmingham.
Manchester-based customer service software provider Mojo-CX has secured £2.3m in a funding round led by NPIF II, Praetura Equity Finance. The capital injection includes contributions from River Capital, Foresight, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, and the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.
The company will direct the new funds towards technological enhancements, including the introduction of voice artificial intelligence and automated quality assurance features. In addition, Mojo-CX plans to double its engineering and sales headcount to support its growing customer base.
Founded in 2018 by chief executive Jimmy Hosang, the business supplies conversation analysis tools to major corporate clients such as Concentrix, AA, and Fiserv. This latest round reinforces regional tech investment in the North of England through the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II.

With this new injection of capital and ideas, MOJO-CX will accelerate our vision of redefining customer contact, for customers, for brands and for employees through the use of AI. As a proud northerner, this funding also allows us to deepen our commitment to the region by creating high-quality jobs and fostering a thriving tech community here in the North West. This is a pivotal moment for MOJO as a business and for the contact centre market, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve in this space."
