MIP Diagnostics is a nanotechnology business based in Bedfordshire that develops and manufactures synthetic antibodies known as nanoMIPs. These nanoscale polymers serve as robust alternatives to traditional antibodies for use in diagnostic devices and biosensors.

MIP Diagnostics has secured a £5.1m Series A funding round to accelerate its international expansion and scale up production capabilities. Downing Ventures, BGF, Mercia Asset Management, and Calculus Capital participated in the latest syndicate, with Downing Ventures, BGF, and Calculus Capital leading the investment. The Bedfordshire company intends to deploy the capital to build out its research and development team, increase commercial resources, and expand manufacturing operations amid growing global demand for synthetic antibody alternatives.
