Messium raises £3.3m in seed funding co-led by UKI2S and Expansion Aerospace Ventures to scale its agricultural AI platform.

Messium is a British agricultural technology company that uses hyperspectral satellite imaging and artificial intelligence to provide nitrogen management insights for farmers. Its platform delivers weekly crop health data to help growers optimise fertiliser use and improve sustainability.
Messium has secured £3.3m in seed financing to expand its commercial footprint and scale its analytics infrastructure. The funding round was co-led by UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund and Expansion Aerospace Ventures, with participation from several other institutional backers and previous investors. The capital will support the company's international rollout across Europe and Australia as it develops its precision agriculture platform.
