Legacy of Lives secures £1m from UKTV Ventures for television advertising
UKTV Ventures has backed the digital funeral planner with an airtime-for-equity agreement to fund its upcoming broadcast campaign.

Funeral planning platform Legacy of Lives has secured £1m in a seed funding round from UKTV Ventures. The investment takes the form of an airtime-for-equity deal, providing the company with television advertising across several linear channels starting in April 2024. The capital will enable the business to expand its brand presence and reach a wider audience seeking end-of-life support.
The partnership gives Legacy of Lives access to millions of monthly viewers while granting the broadcaster an equity stake. Founded in 2019, the platform aims to make funeral arrangements more transparent by offering direct comparisons of thousands of providers.
