Labrys Technologies builds command and control software for defence and dual-use applications, helping entities coordinate and manage a distributed workforce securely.
London-based defence technology startup Labrys Technologies has raised $5.5m in a seed funding round to scale its operations and develop its product roadmap. The investment was led by Project A Ventures, with additional participation from international defence technology investors including MD-One, Offset Ventures, Marque Ventures, and Expedition Fund.
The company is building a unified software platform that combines user verification, encrypted communications, and location tracking to help defence and commercial organisations coordinate on-the-ground teams. The fresh capital will be directed towards expanding the engineering and commercial teams, alongside advancing technical features such as an autonomous mission network capability.
Founded in 2019, Labrys aims to address coordination challenges faced by major defence entities by providing a single interface for workforce management. Co-founder and Chief Executive August Lersten noted that the funding reflects the dedication of the team and opens up new avenues for innovation in the defence sector.
