Kokoon raises £541k from Blackfinch Ventures to scale product sales and development
Blackfinch Ventures has backed the sleep technology developer to support new product lines and retail distribution.
Kokoon produces sensor enabled headphones and a companion application designed to monitor sleep patterns and deliver personalised audio. The firm has shipped more than 15000 units to date.
Kokoon has secured £541k in funding from Blackfinch Ventures to expand its marketing efforts and develop a new lower priced in-ear model. The firm has already commercialised its initial over-ear sleep aiding headphones, generating £4.5m in sales across more than 15000 shipped units.
The capital injection will help drive distribution through high-street retailers such as Selfridges and John Lewis while supporting the company as it scales its operations globally.
