jammtoday raises £300k from GC Angels and Deepbridge Capital to launch its investment comparison platform.
The funding round was backed by GC Angels and Deepbridge Capital to fast track the consumer launch of the platform.
jammtoday operates an online comparison platform that helps consumers navigate digital investment managers and robo-advisors. Based in Manchester, the start-up aims to simplify the process of matching user needs with suitable investment products.
Manchester-based online investment comparison start-up jammtoday has secured £300k in funding from GC Angels, Nova, and Deepbridge Capital to accelerate the commercial launch of its consumer platform.
The capital comprises £50k of seed investment from GC Angels, alongside £250k provided by start-up co-founders Nova and the Deepbridge Capital SEIS Fund. The fresh backing will support the final development stages and market rollout of the company's comparison engine, which helps users evaluate digital investment managers based on personal goals and risk profiles.
Co-founders Adam Bickell and Mark Goldman established the business to address the increasing complexity of the robo-advisor market. The platform is designed to cut through market confusion and make investment intelligence accessible to everyday savers.
From the founder
"Consumers are increasingly aware of the advantages of using digital investment managers as a simple, low cost way to invest money, whether that’s to save for a specific future goal such as a house purchase or for retirement, or just to build a rainy day pot."
