Haiper is a London-based video-generative artificial intelligence platform building a foundation model for visual content creation. The firm enables users to generate and animate video content through an intuitive application suite.
London-based video-generative artificial intelligence platform Haiper has secured £10.9m in a seed funding round led by Octopus Ventures. The capital will be directed towards scaling the company's distributed data processing and model training infrastructure as it emerges from stealth mode.
Founded in late 2021 by former DeepMind researchers Dr Yishu Miao and Dr Ziyu Wang, the firm is training a perceptual foundation model designed to understand the physical world through video. The fresh funds arrive as Haiper prepares for a subsequent Series A financing round later in the year, having previously accumulated $19.2m in total funding.
