Glisser secures seed follow-on investment from Downing Ventures and Gresham House to expand product development
Downing Ventures and Gresham House backed the latest funding round to support software kit development.
Glisser provides enterprise-grade software for virtual, hybrid and in-person events. The platform enables businesses to deliver interactive and fully customisable event experiences.
Glisser has secured a follow-on investment round from venture capital firms Downing Ventures and Gresham House. The funding will support the continued development of the company software development kit, which allows organisations to embed video streaming and audience interaction tools into their own websites.
Formed in 2014, the London-based business initially focused on in-person meetings before pivoting to virtual events in 2020. It now counts major enterprises such as Facebook, Uber and Pfizer among its clients as demand for hybrid meetings persists.
From the founder
"As we transition out of numerous lockdowns, businesses globally are realigning their working environments and travel policies to meet this new way of working. Virtual and hybrid meetings now have a permanent place in their communications and marketing channels, and we’re innovating to support that. It’s a very interesting time for us at Glisser as we embark on the next stage of our growth journey."
