Futr secures £2.1m in seed funding from Blackfinch Ventures and existing backers to scale its chatbot platform

The round was led by Blackfinch Ventures with participation from Praetura Ventures and the British Robotics Fund.
Futr provides live chat and customer service chatbots that enable organisations to assist audiences around the clock. The platform delivers multilingual support and multi-channel connections for sectors ranging from policing to retail.
London-based live chat and chatbot platform Futr has secured £2.1m in a seed funding round led by Blackfinch Ventures. Existing backers Praetura Ventures and the British Robotics Fund also participated in the financing. The capital will support the company as it scales its artificial intelligence customer service technology and expands its market presence.
Over the past year, the company has secured new clients across retail, policing and social housing, while growing its internal headcount across engineering, sales and customer success functions. The latest injection of capital follows a previous £2.4m investment from Praetura Ventures in 2019.
