ForeFront RF raises £16m in Series A funding to scale production of wireless technology
The Cambridge semiconductor startup secured backing from Octopus Ventures, Cambridge Innovation Capital, BGF, and Foresight Group.

ForeFront RF has secured £16m in Series A funding to expand operations and accelerate product development. The Cambridge-based semiconductor startup drew backing from existing investors BGF and Foresight Group, alongside new participants Octopus Ventures and Cambridge Innovation Capital.
The capital will support the company as it transitions from an early-stage enterprise into mass production, culminating in the planned 2026 launch of its first commercial product, the FFM51010, aimed at cellular-enabled smartwatches. Its core technology replaces conventional fixed-frequency filters with software-defined tuning to handle complex wireless frequency bands.
