The cargo drone airline has raised pre-Series A capital from international venture funds and angel investors.
Dronamics develops and operates long-range cargo drones to provide rapid logistics solutions for various industries.
Dronamics has secured £33.2m in pre-Series A funding from a syndicate of international venture capital funds and angel investors. The capital comes from backers including Founders Factory, Speedinvest, Eleven Capital, and the Strategic Development Fund. The proceeds will support the company as it prepares for its upcoming Series A round and expands its operational footprint.
The backing from the Strategic Development Fund, which acts as the investment arm of the Tawazun Council, involves plans to establish a manufacturing and operations joint venture based in the United Arab Emirates. This partnership aims to position the region as a primary hub for Middle Eastern and North African operations. The new financing builds on earlier European Commission support, including an Accelerator grant and commitments toward future equity financing.
