London based data technology start up DPL has secured £1.3m in a seed funding round led by the Angel CoFund. The capital will be directed towards accelerating development of the firm's platform, which combines automated behavioural science data collection with artificial intelligence to boost marketing performance.
Alongside the financing, DPL announced several senior leadership changes, appointing Jean Pierre van Tiel as chief executive, Richard Robinson as chief commercial officer, and Chris Ward as chief technology officer. Former chief executive David Marshall transitions to a non executive director role, while angel investor Mark Leader becomes a board observer. The business has also established a new advisory group comprising Mike Reynolds, Russ Shaw, and Angus Lovitt.
