Diesta provides a B2B software platform designed to streamline payment operations, reconciliation, and treasury management for the insurance sector.
London-based B2B software startup Diesta has secured $3.8m in seed funding to expand its payment operations platform for the insurance industry. The investment round was led by New York-founded FinTech Collective, with additional backing from Commerce Ventures, Restive Ventures, and SixThirty.
The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate geographic expansion across the UK, Europe, and the United States, alongside scaling into new insurance classes. Furthermore, the company intends to enhance its platform capabilities through artificial intelligence integrations and embedded financial technology partnerships.
Co-founded by Julian Schoemig and Christopher Davis after meeting at Antler, Diesta aims to modernise antiquated manual processes that cost the global commercial insurance sector billions annually. The platform serves clients ranging from emerging insurtechs to large enterprises.
