£22.1MSeries B

Definely builds AI-powered technology that integrates directly into word processors to help lawyers review and edit complex contracts efficiently.

London-based legal tech scale-up Definely has secured £22.1m in Series B funding to scale its international footprint and advance its artificial intelligence capabilities. The transaction was led by Revaia, with participation from Alumni Ventures, Beacon Capital, and Clio, alongside existing backers Octopus Ventures, Zrosk Investment Management, The Raine Group, and Cornerstone VC.

The capital injection follows a period of rapid expansion that saw the firm nearly triple its annual recurring revenue through 2024. Definely plans to direct the proceeds towards expanding its presence in the United States and accelerating the development of its product suite, including its recently launched multi-agent system.

The firm currently counts numerous major law firms and blue-chip corporate legal teams among its clientele. This latest financing event marks Revaia's inaugural transaction in the UK since establishing its London office.
