CRUX has secured £1m in a seed investment round led by WENVEST Capital, with participation from A-Round Capital and Founders Factory. The company has developed a knowledge quantification platform designed to combat information overload by measuring users knowledge build-up in real time.
The fresh capital will be directed towards scaling the publisher product offering, advancing the core algorithm and engaging corporate design partners for new applications. Operating across London and Tel Aviv, the startup aims to provide a reliable metric for the knowledge economy through natural language processing and proprietary algorithms.
From the founder
"Information overload is everywhere, and it is making users disengage. Our unique technology empowers users by telling them how much they already know about any given topic and how to best increase their knowledge. Empowered users engage more and achieve better results. By objectively quantifying knowledge we are creating the currency for a true future knowledge economy."
