Coopah secures £1.5m in seed funding led by Redrice Ventures and Active Partners
Redrice Ventures and Active Partners led the seed round alongside backing from London Marathon Events and other prominent sports investors.
Coopah provides a run coaching application offering personalised training plans and real-time workout feedback. The platform aims to help runners build habits and achieve race goals.
Coopah has raised £1.5m in a seed funding round led jointly by Redrice Ventures and Active Partners. The capital injection also saw participation from London Marathon Events, Amrock Ventures, Rianta Capital, Alistair Brownlee MBE, and Ricky Simms. The business intends to direct the proceeds towards scaling its marketing reach and advancing its core product features. This follows earlier backing from London Marathon Events, which also serves as a strategic partner for the platform.
From the founder
"We can’t wait to show the 500m existing global runners, and the thousands of people that start running every day, the power of Coopah. Securing these funds and bringing this group of high quality investors on board is giving us the opportunity to invest in new growth channels which will put Coopah in front of the global running world. Bringing Gareth on board to spearhead this growth effort is an incredibly exciting moment for the business. His passion for our mission and his wealth of knowledge on how to scale a consumer sports app make him a fantastic addition to Coopah’s leadership."
