Cazoo has secured £25m in a Series C funding round led by Draper Esprit, with participation from existing backers DMG Ventures and General Catalyst. The capital brings the company total funding to over £200m and elevates the firm to unicorn status with a valuation exceeding $1bn.

Founded by Alex Chesterman, the online car retailer delivers fully reconditioned vehicles directly to consumers across the UK. The business has scaled rapidly since its launch, offering home delivery, a 90-day warranty, and a money-back guarantee.
