BookingLive secures £1.3m seed investment from Blackfinch Ventures and the Development Bank of Wales
The funding will support US expansion plans and team growth following the company headquarters relocation to Cardiff.
BookingLive provides online booking and reservation software to public and private sector clients. The firm operates globally with offices in the UK and the US.
BookingLive has secured £1.3m in seed financing from Blackfinch Ventures and the Development Bank of Wales. The capital will support the company as it relocates its headquarters to Cardiff and targets expansion across UK and US markets. Additional funds will be allocated towards team growth, marketing, and product development.
The investment follows a productive period for the software provider, which launched its freemium Connect system for small businesses and opened a North Carolina office. Backed by the new funding injection, the firm aims to more than double its revenues over the coming year.
From the founder
"BookingLive is set to grow rapidly in the next two years, as we continue our success in the UK and look to replicate that success in the US. Securing the backing of both Blackfinch and the Development Bank of Wales is a great vote of confidence in our company and in our product."
