Blue Skies Space is developing commercial space science satellites to deliver scientific data directly to academic and research users worldwide.
Blue Skies Space has secured £570k in a funding round co-invested by Startup Funding Club, the SFC Angel Fund, the London Co-Investment Fund, and a group of angel investors. The capital will allow the company to grow its headcount and contract suppliers for its inaugural mission, Twinkle.
The raise follows commercial interest from both the European Space Agency and the UK Space Agency. The financing exceeded initial targets, positioning the firm to pursue additional European Space Agency support.
