MMC Ventures leads Series A investment into letterbox florist Bloom & Wild alongside existing angels.
An online flower gifting brand operating in the UK, France, and Germany.
Bloom & Wild has secured £2.5m in a Series A funding round led by MMC Ventures, with continued participation from existing angel backers including Samos, Catamaran Ventures, and Scott Sage. The company specialises in letterbox-friendly packaging for fresh cut flowers, operating through mobile and online channels in the UK.
The newly raised capital will be directed towards digital product improvements, specifically expanding the user experience, design, and development teams to enhance both the website and mobile applications. The business also intends to use the funds to trial new product offerings as it enters its next phase of expansion.
From the founder
"We set out to create a flower brand that our customers genuinely love, with a focus on the best possible experience in buying and receiving flowers. The ability to place orders in seconds via our app and website, and to receive freshly cut and beautifully presented flowers through the letterbox, is clearly resonating with customers, and now with investors. Today’s funding marks an exciting next step – we look forward to working with Camilla and the team at MMC as we continue improving the proposition."
