BKwai secures £2.2m in seed funding led by Octopus Ventures to advance its infrastructure monitoring platform.
Octopus Ventures led the seed financing round, which included participation from Deeptech Labs and Cambridge Enterprise.
BKwai provides a construction data platform that combines sensor, environmental, and satellite feeds to help engineers monitor built infrastructure. The firm assists industry participants in making safer and more efficient decisions.
Construction data platform BKwai has raised £2.2m in a seed financing round led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from Deeptech Labs and Cambridge Enterprise. The London-based company plans to allocate the fresh capital towards scaling its operations and advancing its product roadmap as demand grows for digital infrastructure monitoring tools.
Founded in 2019, the firm aggregates data from on-site sensors, remote satellites, and environmental feeds to give engineers real-time structural insights. Its technology is currently deployed across major UK projects by clients such as Laing O'Rourke, Kier, and Thames Tideway.
