AMPLY Discovery is an artificial intelligence driven drug discovery company based in the United Kingdom. The firm leverages multi-omic datasets and laboratory testing to generate therapeutic programmes for partnering.
AMPLY Discovery has secured £900k in equity and grant funding to advance its drug discovery platform. The capital was raised from a consortium including Co-fund NI, the QUBIS Innovation Fund, the Helix Way Partnership, and members of the Halo Business Angel Network, alongside grant backing from Innovate UK.
The Belfast-based biotechnology company will use the proceeds to commercialise its technology, which applies financial market machine learning techniques to biological data. Its initial therapeutic focus is an anti-infective product designed to treat bovine mastitis.
Spinning out from Queen's University Belfast, the firm aims to address antimicrobial resistance. The fresh funds support its ongoing development programmes in infectious diseases and related areas.
