AeroCloud Systems has secured £1.2m in seed funding led by Playfair Capital. The capital will be deployed to support expansion in North America and facilitate key appointments, including the recruitment of industry veteran Andrew Hoppe as Director of Airport Engagement.
Founded in 2017, the company offers a cloud-based platform designed to modernise airport management through predictive analytics and real-time data integration. The technology aims to provide cost-effective alternatives to legacy systems for airports of various sizes as the aviation sector begins to recover from the pandemic.
From the founder
"Myself and my co-founder, Ian Forde-Smith, always felt the airport operations sector was an underserved market that we could have a huge impact on. And we’ve shown that a combination of genuinely innovative technology and great service is really resonating with the airports we speak to."
