AccelerComm secures £21.5m Series B funding from Parkwalk, Swisscom and Hostplus to expand operations
Parkwalk led the Series B financing round to support the company in scaling its connectivity technology globally.
AccelerComm supplies high-performance 5G technology tailored for satellite networks and direct-to-device communications. Its modular physical layer solutions integrate with standard architectures to support space-based connectivity.
Southampton-based AccelerComm has secured £21.5m in Series B funding led by Parkwalk, alongside Swisscom and Hostplus. Existing backers Bloc Ventures, IP Group and IQ Capital also participated in the round.
The capital will be used to expand the workforce, drive international growth, and advance product development as demand increases among mobile operators, telecoms equipment vendors, and satellite operators.
Founded out of the University of Southampton, the company produces channel coding technology to correct signal errors and improve capacity in 5G infrastructure.
