Smartfin has led a £10m Series A round in Incard to support international expansion and product development.
"As entrepreneurs we noticed there was a clear mismatch between how digital businesses actually operate and the financial tools that were available to them. Every industry has unique financial workflows and they need a system that understands how they operate – one that centralises finance, provides spend insights, tracks real-time cash flow, and includes industry-specific add-ons. They need to have visibility of all of that, in a single place."
The strategic investment deepens product collaboration to bridge the gap between design and construction.
"We believe that meaningful progress towards more sustainable design and make processes starts with better data: captured earlier, verified at the source, and connected across the lifecycle of a project."
AlbionVC led the Series A round for the healthcare-as-a-service provider, with backing from Simplyhealth Ventures, Exceptional Ventures, Cornerstone VC, and BBI.
The Series A round was led by Acton Capital to accelerate artificial intelligence features and international growth.
"Eolas has always been about solving a very practical problem: giving healthcare professionals fast, reliable access to the knowledge they need, when they need it. This is especially important in acute settings, where staff are under pressure to make decisions quickly and safely – particularly in the winter. As AI develops, the next phase is about making that access even more usable, so staff can ask a question and get a clear, evidence-backed answer straight away, in plain language."
The Series A round was led by Blackbird Ventures and will support international expansion and product development.
"Trades businesses are overwhelmed by calls, emails, and admin – and that friction directly costs them revenue. We’re building AI agents that work like effective front-office staff: answering every call, booking every job, and integrating deeply into the systems trades already use."
