Acton Capital and MMC Ventures backed the latest funding round to accelerate technology developments in home care delivery.
"This is an exciting time for Elder customers and families everywhere who are looking for vital support and care. This new funding will be used to further improve our live-in care experience so even more people up and down the UK can make sure their loved ones get to remain happy, independent and supported in their own home rather than being forced out of it and into a care home."
Skip Capital led the Series A round to support Pando Health as it expands internationally and grows its headcount.
"We started our journey as Forward because it perfectly encapsulated what we set out to do: to create tools to help ward-based NHS clinicians struggling with outdated technology."
The online pharmacy secured investment from angel backers with experience in e-commerce and digital health.
"We see how the convenience of e-commerce has had a huge impact on multiple retail sectors, but for some reason, the general public still shops for their pharmacy needs on the high street. We think that medino can help fill the gap in this underserved sector."
The Seed round was led by Maven Equity Finance to support team expansion and product development.
"We’re delighted to support GrandCare at this stage in the company’s development, with a real addressable market and innovative system we look forward to working with the business as it expands its customer reach and invests in product development. Stella and the team are highly experienced in the sector and dedicated to driving the business forward, with an increasing demand for the company’s technology solution, the business is set to experience rapid growth in the coming years."
