Maven Vcts has led a £2m Series A round in data analytics provider Hublsoft to support product development and international expansion.
"Hublsoft has developed an innovative proprietary data visualisation product which is addressing a large and growing corporate market and, despite the company still being at a relatively early stage, it has already been successful in attracting an impressive range of blue chip clients with a low churn rate. The market opportunity is significant, and Maven’s investment will enable the business to scaleup and capitalise on the increased demand from brands to utilise big data to make improvements to the retail and wholesale performance of their products. Today’s funding highlights Maven’s ongoing commitment to support fast growing UK businesses."
The investment round was led by Hiro Capital with participation from BoostVC, Maveron, and TenOneTen Ventures, alongside an innovation loan from Innovate UK.
"Over the last year, we have been redefining fitness and challenging people’s perceptions of what a fun and effective workout is, providing an alternative for people who want to keep fit but are unmotivated by the traditional fitness offerings"
The London-based start-up has closed its first funding round with backing from tennis enthusiast and fintech investor David Kasper.
"We are extremely excited to partner with David and start our journey towards becoming the world’s largest online sporting community for amateurs. There are over 1 billion people in the world who find it very difficult to meet partners near them, at a similar standard and available to play. This is exactly why we’re here and we’re determined to help them all."
