Monese secures £65.8m Series C investment led by Investec

Monese is a leading pan-European fintech offering mobile financial services and a cloud-based transactional banking platform. The company provides accessible digital accounts designed for modern, mobile-first consumers.
Monese has secured £65.8m in the first close of its Series C funding round led by Investec. The capital injection accompanies a strategic partnership under which Investec will adopt Monese to power its digital current account offerings in the UK. Alongside the investment, Lyndon Subroyen joins the Monese board.
The newly raised funds follow a period of growth for the fintech, which recently launched a cloud-based Banking-as-a-Service platform. Monese has previously attracted backing from institutional investors including Kinnevik, PayPal, Augmentum, and Outward, bringing its total historical funding to $162m.
