The London-headquartered firm has closed one of the largest pre-Series A rounds in Europe this year with undisclosed backers.
"I am really excited about the opportunity that lies ahead for ALT21. Our mission is to make things simple. We use technology to scale where others have added human capital, providing a highly automated service that cuts cost and complexity, and gives value back to small businesses at a time when they need it most."
Octopus Ventures led the pre-seed round to help launch Titan Takeoff.
"We see so many businesses investing heavily in AI, but most struggle to return value from their investments. Machine learning teams are facing a whole host of problems in model deployment – from GPU shortages, to concerns over privacy when deploying through third parties like OpenAI. We’re transforming what was once the most challenging part of the development cycle into the easiest and most efficient, and it’s here where our flagship product, Takeoff, comes into its own"
The investment was led by Praetura Ventures to help deploy the Melo platform across National Health Service trusts.
"Acquired brain injury is not a new problem, but the statistics show it is a growing issue, which is causing a strain on both the public and private health sectors. With Melo, our focus is to provide a duty of care to staff who are responsible for looking after ABI patients who may, due to brain injury, express challenging behaviour."
