The smart home energy company secured funding from over 1,200 public backers on Crowdcube.
"We entered into crowdfunding as we wanted a percentage of the company to be genuinely owned by the consumer. To receive this level of investment from the public is an incredible endorsement for all of the hard work the Verv team has done so far and we’re excited to have brought on board an incredible 1217 crowd investors join us on our journey."
The seed round was facilitated by Envestors and brings 23 new backers to the company.

The capital will fund upcoming field trials and North American expansion.

The Series A round was backed by intu, Breed Reply, and Finance Wales.

The funding round was backed by LBA, the Stephenson Fund, and the Enterprise M3 Growth Fund.
