Welsh smart building technology company EnModus has raised £3m in a Series A financing round. The investment features participation from intu, Breed Reply, and Finance Wales.
The capital will be used by the Chepstow-based firm to drive international expansion across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. In addition, the company plans to double its current team of 16 employees over the next year and a half.
EnModus specialises in building energy management and smart lighting control systems, allowing commercial and industrial property owners to convert existing infrastructure into connected smart buildings using standard power lines.
