The Series A round was led by EdenBase to accelerate technology development for acquiring banks and drive international expansion.
"Acquiring banks and most businesses were built for the one-to-one transactions of Commerce 1.0. However, in the era of Commerce 2.0, where transactions within a single marketplace involve numerous parties, financial institutions are struggling to deliver payment operations that meet the evolving needs of their customers. As a result, they’re unable to compete with the likes of Stripe Connect and Adyen whose solutions currently dominate the payments ecosystem despite high fees, complicated integrations, poor support, and prolonged payment wait times. At Ryft, we have the technology that allows acquiring banks to overcome these hurdles and we’re actively exploring several strategic partnerships to solve this issue in the payments industry."
The funding from Partners for Growth will accelerate technology development and portfolio expansion.
"Ayan Capital is redefining what Islamic finance can look like in a modern, tech-enabled ecosystem. Their strong traction, disciplined underwriting, and commitment to financial inclusion closely align with PFG’s mission to support founders building next-generation financial infrastructure. We’re proud to support Ayan as they scale access to Shariah-compliant products across the UK and beyond."
Global Wealth Group backed the seed round to accelerate the company's growth across Europe.
"Wealthyhood was born from a simple realisation: the financial system has failed to offer meaningful access to the vast majority of people. Access doesn't mean being able to buy a stock from a mobile app. It means having the tools, knowledge, and guidance to reach financial independence on equal terms. We share a common vision with Global Wealth, a vision for democratising investments and empowering our generation for financial prosperity. Our goal is to build the best investment app a user could ask for, combining education, savings, investments, and automation. Above all, however, our goal is to build a relationship of trust and transparency with the Wealthyhood community. This isn't given away, can't be written in code, nor bought with ad campaigns. But we will earn it, step by step! In just two years, we managed to attract over 50,000 users in one of the most competitive and demanding markets, that of the United Kingdom, with minimal marketing spend. With the strategic support of Global Wealth, we want to become the go-to app for millions of Europeans who want to build their financial future. We are on a mission to help you get started investing, become a better investor day by day and build wealth under your own terms! And we’ll do that as the first Greek investing app!"
Deutsche Bank has provided up to £250m in new financing to help the credit technology firm scale its operations.
"This new facility from Deutsche Bank further evidences the power of our bank-transaction data led AI credit decisioning technology. Open Banking has become a mature and widely adopted technology in the UK, and is now used by nearly 20 million people. As more and more countries around the world adopt Open Banking, we’re perfectly poised to start taking what’s worked in the UK, global."
The seed round was led by Frontline Ventures and will support the expansion of artificial intelligence compliance workflows.
"We were really early-stage when the boom in AI came into effect, meaning we could implement AI-native solutions from the very start, something that more established companies running on legacy architecture have found challenging. It is true that bad actors in financial crime are finding new ways of using AI all the time, which is what makes the work Flagright is doing so important. This funding will allow us to further develop our AI agents that will allow financial companies to stay one step ahead."
