Ayan Capital secures up to £25m from Partners for Growth to expand halal financing

Ayan Capital

The funding from Partners for Growth will accelerate technology development and portfolio expansion.

£25.0MDebt

Share allotment filed at Companies House

A UK-based fintech providing Shariah-compliant vehicle financing and ethical financial services.

Ayan Capital has secured up to £25m in Shariah-compliant funding from Partners for Growth. The capital will be deployed to accelerate growth, enhance underwriting technology, and expand its halal financial services beyond vehicle lending.

Operating in the UK used car finance market, the company utilises a commission-free, tech-first model based on Ijara wa Iqtina principles. Alongside vehicle financing, it recently introduced Ayan Pay, offering interest-free financing for home and car repairs.

The investment follows a period of rapid expansion, with the firm doubling its financing issuance in the latest quarter while maintaining a zero non-performing loan rate. Ayan Capital ultimately aims to secure a UK banking licence.

From the founder

"We are grateful for the trust and support of the PFG team. Our mission is to make halal financing more accessible in every way – cost, technology, and customer experience. Choosing a halal option should not mean paying more. While we are still at the beginning of our journey, we are wholeheartedly committed to building a financial system that is open to all – one that is not only halal but also more competitive, convenient, and innovative than conventional alternatives."
