Growth capital from BGF will back software development and the Caseload Manager tool at Voicescape.
"The social housing and local authority sectors have displayed a remarkable appetite for digital transformation over the last few years, which was only accelerated by the pandemic. The constantly changing needs and circumstances of residents have been highlighted, making it crucial for organisations to use technology effectively. Voicescape’s solutions have been focused on helping organisations use technology to better understand their customers’ behaviours and improve engagement at scale, especially when faced with these strategic challenges."
The investment from BGF backs the digital consultancy's acquisition of Netsells and international expansion plans.
"The acquisition of Netsells is a major milestone for us as a company. The combination of two firms with established and renowned capabilities will enhance our offering and growth prospects massively by bringing together some of the best talent in the industry and facilitating our continued expansion into new international markets."
The growth round was led by Delta-v Capital with backing from Wavecrest Growth Partners, Beringea, and Hermes GPE.
"In speaking with EDITED’s customers, we heard again and again that they couldn’t imagine doing their jobs without EDITED. That type of advocacy is a clear indication of a company that has found a product-market fit. We are excited to partner with Doug and the leadership team as they capitalise on their market leadership position by further investing in growth,"
BGF led a £5.3m minority investment in technology group KCA Holdings to fund platform development and team expansion.
"I had known of BGF for some time as they are very successful and active in fast-paced technology sectors. When they approached us I was pleased that the BGF team took the time to really get to know our management team and our business; they understand how we have successfully grown organically and can see how we can further accelerate customer efficiencies and benefits with additional investment."
