Backed VC led the seed round to support the care workforce management platform.
"We met at Entrepreneur First, where we spent hundreds of hours with care providers who were turning down hundreds of thousands of pounds every year in contracts because they couldn’t find the staff they needed to service them. We realised this was partly because of the time and money they had to spend learning how to stay compliant, often working with expensive third party lawyers and recruiters. We saw how solving those high costs could positively impact the care industry – and that’s why we started Borderless."
Oxford Innovation Finance's Angel Network backed the round, which will fund technology development and commercial pilots.
"As global temperatures rise and many parts of the world have recorded their hottest summers yet in 2023, there is an increasing need to find net zero cooling solutions to regulate temperatures in indoor environments. Our proprietary smart coating technology can make a significant impact as a sustainable, low carbon solution for temperature regulation. This latest investment will help us to propel our technology development, scale up manufacturing capabilities and complete commercial pilots that will allow us to bring our first products to market within the next two years."
Elbow Beach Capital provided £1.5m towards the financing alongside a Seedrs round, with participation from Frontier IP and other existing investors.

The financing includes a £300k equity investment from the Enterprise M3 Growth Fund alongside private backers.
