The transport technology scaleup will use the capital to scale its North American footprint and widen its product portfolio.

"The investment from ENV, Foresight Group, and Gresham House Ventures will support us in our mission to optimise transport networks and improve urban infrastructure, increasing both the safety and sustainability of our roads. Our growth over the past year is a testament to our hard-working team, and we look forward to the opportunities that 2023 will bring, especially when it comes to expanding our product suite and continuing our international expansion."

The financing follows previous backing from Pollen Street and aims to support the company fleet expansion.

"We’re grateful for the support of Pollen Street and CDPQ – it will turbocharge our UK growth plans and consolidate our position as the leading electric car subscription service. This is a pivotal moment for the adoption of electric cars, and at Onto, we want to make them more accessible and affordable to people who want to make environmentally-conscious choices. The opportunity to provide an alternative to car ownership has never been more desirable – our subscribers benefit from the convenience, flexibility, and choice of a monthly subscription model."

The funding round was led by Lead Ventures with participation from Credo Ventures and Sofia Angels Ventures.

"GoodVision provides a first-of-its-kind software platform that enables what transportation specialists could not have managed before. In the past, traffic data collection was done manually by humans on the road or single-purpose sensors, and transport analytics was done with pen and paper. GoodVision is the place where all related parties can work together on their projects and have most of their work tasks automated. That in turn helps them save time which they can dedicate to more relevant assignments."
