The funding round was jointly backed by NPIF and Finance Yorkshire with £500k each.

However, training staff is costly, and machine downtime is commonplace, often due to operator error or simple faults that could easily be fixed with the right support. We believe our platform will dramatically improve productivity by enhancing staff skills and keeping equipment up and running, while also reducing warranty costs for manufacturers."
The biotechnology firm raised fresh capital to accelerate growth in American and European markets and complete new laboratory facilities.
"Over the last year we’ve demonstrated the market for novel and improved in vitro testing methods and expanded our customer base as well as the Aelius team. Along with our move to our new premises, this latest funding will enable us to accelerate our growth in international markets, particularly in the US."
The funding round was led by Mercia Ventures and will support team expansion and platform development.

The funding round was backed by the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, Mercia Ventures, and Pioneer Group.
