The funding round was led by Bain Capital Tech Opportunities and values the company at €8bn.

The seed round was co-led by Fin Capital and 1818 Ventures to accelerate the rollout of its buy now, pay later service.

Silicon Valley venture fund Fin VC led the investment, with additional backing from Barclays Bank.
