Zobi secures £1.3m in seed funding led by Worth Capital and Loyal VC to launch smart home security products.
The round was co-led by Worth Capital and Loyal VC, incorporating angel investment and a Seedrs campaign.
Zobi develops smart home security products designed to protect domestic networks from cybercrime. Its flagship device, Hedgehog, acts as a digital guardian for connected household devices.
London-based artificial intelligence startup Zobi has raised £1.3m in a seed funding round. The investment was co-led by Worth Capital and Loyal VC, and was supported by angel backers alongside a crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs.
The capital will be deployed to bring the company's debut product, Hedgehog, to market and to develop additional digital guardian software products. Zobi launched its technology earlier in the year at the Consumer Electronics Show, positioning the device to monitor and safeguard home networks against suspicious online activity.
Following the completion of the raise, the firm plans to expand its product suite ahead of the commercial rollout of Hedgehog later in the year.
