Ziglu raises £6m through a Seedrs crowdfunding campaign to support international expansion and product development.
The company secured the capital from over 1250 investors via the Seedrs platform.
Ziglu is a personal money app that integrates traditional British pounds and Mastercard spending with access to cryptocurrencies. The London based firm is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority as an electronic money institution and cryptoasset business.
London based personal money app Ziglu has closed a crowdfunding campaign totalling £6m via Seedrs, surpassing its initial target within hours and securing backing from over 1250 investors. The raise marks the largest equity campaign on the platform for 2020 and brings the company's total funds secured this year to £11m. The capital will be directed towards product and technology development as well as international expansion to satisfy growing user demand.
